Our first Promo pics  !LOL!

This page is for the band I formed in Mississippi, mr slate. This particular version of the band is pretty old. The guitar player in the picture is no longer with the band. He was replaced by Shannon W. Me and Myke VN (we are both in the Air Force) have been transferred to different bases. I am now in the DC Metro area.

The band started as a Classic and Alternative Rock band. Due to the decline in demand for Classic Rock bands in the area, mr. slate directed they're attention toward being an Alternative Rock Cover Band (with a few surprises here and there).
After two short months of practice , the band was given the opportunity to perform at the 6th Annual Fishing Rodeo in Gulfport, MS opening for area favorite Treehouse (later known as Peepin' Tom).  That performance led to an invitation to play at the 97.9 WCPR Alternative Rock Show at the 2nd Annual Cruisin’ the Coast and consequently to numerous gigs in the Biloxi/Gulfport Area and Keesler AFB.

The Audio Files can be found here.   The songs were recorded by my good buddy (and fellow Drummer) Rob "Grunt" Gronkoski in his studio straight to DAT.  These are all one takes, and no post production, so expect to hear little mistakes here and there.   When I transferred the DAT to CD, it was basically a simple record to computer, burn to CD.  The CD was originally intended for each of the band members as a gift, something to remember the band by, which is one of the reasons we didn't do a full production.  Time was another issue as I was leaving within a week or two after we recorded, but we actually ended up selling a few.

I may put some video files up in the future.
